Dr. Lydia Liu O.D.
Dr. Lydia Liu is the chief optometrist and owner of Sarena Eyecare. She graduated from Loyola University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then pursued her dream of optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. During this time she has been involved in specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and managing various types of ocular diseases. Dr. Liu has done extensive research in children’s binocular vision issues and has been published in Investigational Ophthalmology and Visual Science.
Born and raised in Park Ridge, Dr. Liu is passionate about serving the community she grew up in. She looks forward to maintaining and creating new relationships within the community. When she is not working, Dr. Liu enjoys being a mother to her son and daughter. Her activities include running, traveling, and crafts.

Soula Kaloudis
Soula is a native of Chicago. She can be found busy at the front desk answering calls, booking appointments, and greeting patients. She is also experienced in verifying and billing insurances. When Soula is not at work, she can be found busy chasing her daughter around.

Thaya Martinez
Thaya got her start working in optical 15 years ago. She is a born and bred resident of Chicago. She has experience in frame styling, frame adjustments, and patient pre-testing. Thaya continues her training to make sure patients are given the most up to date technology and glasses that best meet their needs. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
